What And Why Teleclasses
Teleclasses have been a great way for me to share basic but detailed information with groups of people at one time that would otherwise require travel or costly private consultations. These classes are designed to be about 1 to 1 ½ hours long, filled to the brim with information to not only educate you about the specific topic but also to provide you with practical, hands-on techniques or information that can be readily utilized. In our very busy lives, these classes are easy (in the comfort of your own home or office), no need to travel and put your pet in a kennel. They are brief, concise and dynamic. We do our best to make sure all of your questions about the topic are answered. They are very affordable—private consultions would cost more than triple. Other people on the line will be helpful because they often ask questions that help everyone. Lastly, anyone, anywhere (that has phone access) is able to join any class—making this a global network!
Who Are the Classes For
Anyone! Tell your friends! These classes are meant to support you, but they are also a great gift for family or friends who would like to learn more about natural care for their pets.
Contact Us
If you are interested in a class(s) please contact our office via telephone (505-986-3434) or via email (dee@drdeeblanco.com) and let us know what classes you are interested in taking.
Seasonal Classes
Some classes are offered seasonally such as parasite control or bladder disorders in cats. Other classes will be with guest veterinarians, so please check in monthly to see what we are up to!
Payment
We accept Visa and Mastercard.
Charges
$60 for one class $50 for two or more classes. Refunds are only given for changes made 72 hours in advance and a $25 cancellation fee is charged. If you cannot make the class already paid for and would like to change the date, we will gladly reschedule the class for your next choice of date.
Access Codes
After you have paid for the class you will be given a telephone number to call and an access code. At the designated time of the class call the telephone number and punch in your access code. We suggest that you use a telephone line or a calling card that has a low minute rate as you will be charged for the call just as any other long distance call. Cell phones often have low rates, but coverage should be optimum or you will miss valuable information. We do not suggest you do the classes while driving. It is best if you can sit someplace where you can focus and take notes.
Handouts
Many of the classes have handouts that will be sent via email, fax or snail-mail. Please allow time to receive and read these materials as it will make it easier and more enjoyable for you. If you do not receive the handouts 24 hours in advance please call ASAP, as we cannot send out materials the day of the class.
